關於台中-機場接駁車
FiFi提道有關8/1早上包車之事宜，
藍天旅行社吳先生表示：由於當天是假日，至機場出國的人會特別多，
所以塞車機率非常高，故保守起見，請同學需於4：30（早上）在學士路校門口搭車至機場。
費用是一輛車新台幣4000元整。
請大家踴躍利用一夏。

關於Free Time
昨天第二次行前會議中，許老師提到是否該揪團旅遊來度過第二個週末與後面三天的free time。
基本上我都鼓勵同學盡量參與籌劃與安排。
如果有興趣的同學，趕緊想一下你們想去哪裡？人數有多少？
在國外，預約是必要的。我們後面三天原本的自費行程，就因為太晚連繫而全部取消掉。
所以，有意願的同學趕緊發聲，揪團吧！
基本上我都鼓勵同學盡量參與籌劃與安排。

擔心聯繫不周全；擔心實際與設定不符，無法"照表操課"；擔心同學的安全；擔心上課的品質...
到目前為止還在與皇家植物園討論相關細節。總總零零碎碎的事情，怎麼那麼多！？？
我也擔心無法給同學原本的承諾，都怪自己把它想得太完美，認為一定會如我所想的，真的嗎？我很擔心。
這是我第一次參予暑期國外課程的規劃與執行，只怪自己太雞婆，把事情弄得太複雜。
為什麼別團的老師就可以輕輕鬆鬆地就出門，我搞到現在研究計畫停擺、連英鎊都還沒去換。
惟一有進步的是國際電話帳單。
我雖然很愛玩，可是也不是萬事通。
希望同學能夠體諒籌備過程的辛苦。
既然潦下去，就想把它做好，即使不完美，還是一次難得的人生經歷。

關於蚵仔卡
西敏大學提供了地鐵票給我們使用，詳細的情形，仁慈又精打細算的Sarah小姐，告訴我們相關的資訊，原文如下：
"We are sorting out Oyster cards for zones 1 and 2 and will arrange top ups if needed. These will be given to you all on Monday. You won't need the travel pass for the first week so I am suggesting that we arrange this for weeks 2 and 3."
不過，對於藥學院的學生就有一點問題，因為第一週就要去遙遠的Kew去做研究啊！

They just need to show the passport at the cafeteria at Marylebone and Regent to receive free lunches for the first week. Thereafter, if they show their cards, all the students would receive a discount price on food if they are in one of our buildings."
因此，第一週是有安排午餐，但是第二週開始，我們可以憑Passport card，可以在學校餐廳獲得打折的優惠。

我預定了Mamma Mia的票了
剛剛覺得應該看一下網誌上的聯結，進入了Time out
想說看看音樂劇的價錢，順便訂訂看，結果就發現了一張30英鎊的票。
加上手續費也才37.5英鎊。
我又再次輸入尋找，這次設定4張票，一張給自己，三張當黃牛票，哈哈!
結果，就沒有37.5英鎊的便宜票，真是奇怪。
試了兩次，還是一樣，最便宜的是50英鎊，而且日期不適合。
回到主畫面，看到的購物籃中還有一項紀錄，就是原來的37.5英鎊的票。
不管了，先訂再說，所以我就訂到8月9日星期一晚上7點30分的Mamma Mia。

課程結束之旅遊安排參考
我們的課程在8月19日就結束，但是配合華航的班機時間，我們其實還有3天的空檔。
這三天同學可以完全放鬆，在倫敦逛逛，或血拼或發呆。
也可以到外地走走，參觀其他不同的地方。

The accommodation
The Hall - a modern 21-storey building is attached to the Marylebone Road Campus, one of the main teaching sites at the University of Westminster. The Residence underwent complete refurbishment during 2007/08 and now offers 212 standard rooms and 14 large rooms all with ensuite facilities built in wardrobes, desks and an internet connection. Kitchens are shared by a maximum of six students and contain a cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster.
我想同學比較擔心的就是網路以及有沒有棉被，下面是學校官網的說明：

Bedrooms are centrally heated and generally contain a single bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, storage drawer, bookshelf, bedside cabinet, mirror and washbasin.
NB: The following items will not be provided and you should bring them with you: Blankets or duvet and cover, Bed linen (sheets and pillowcases) & Pillows.
Wireless Internet access
All of the Halls of Residence have wireless internet access. The high speed network is accessible from all bedrooms and some communal areas.
Like any service there are rules and regulations in place to ensure the students use the Internet legally and responsibly.
Laundry facilities
You are responsible for your own laundry. Westminster Halls provide onsite launderettes with coin operated washers and dryers. Irons and ironing boards are available on request.

The accommodation
The Hall - a modern 21-storey building is attached to the Marylebone Road Campus, one of the main teaching sites at the University of Westminster. The Residence underwent complete refurbishment during 2007/08 and now offers 212 standard rooms and 14 large rooms all with ensuite facilities built in wardrobes, desks and an internet connection. Kitchens are shared by a maximum of six students and contain a cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster.
我想同學比較擔心的就是網路以及有沒有棉被，下面是學校官網的說明：
Bedrooms
Bedrooms are centrally heated and generally contain a single bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, storage drawer, bookshelf, bedside cabinet, mirror and washbasin.
NB: The following items will not be provided and you should bring them with you: Blankets or duvet and cover, Bed linen (sheets and pillowcases) & Pillows.
Wireless Internet access
All of the Halls of Residence have wireless internet access. The high speed network is accessible from all bedrooms and some communal areas.
Like any service there are rules and regulations in place to ensure the students use the Internet legally and responsibly.
Laundry facilities
You are responsible for your own laundry. Westminster Halls provide onsite launderettes with coin operated washers and dryers. Irons and ironing boards are available on request.

關於TCM clinic
關於中醫臨床部份，我將所提出以及所得到之解答完整地貼出來，這樣應該會比較清楚。
Dear Winder
I will be in charge of the TCM clinic in the first week you are all here so if there is anything you are interested in or need then please come back to me about it. To answer your questions -
1. There are 5 afternoons in the first week for TCM clinic. How do you arrange our students to join or participate, or “watch” for the internship in your clinic?
We have 17 students totally, but 5 students from College of Pharmacy. Therefore, I hope all of students can join the TCM clinic course in the first day. Then, these 5 students will have a small project in Kew for 4 afternoons. It means there are 12 students will continue participate in the TCM clinic from Tuesday. Do you divide them into small groups for orientation?
The students will all come into the clinic into one discussion room starting at 2pm on the Monday. We will do an induction with them all on the first day. Then we will mainly have students observing clinic treatment through a video link. A senior student will be treating a patient in one room and the supervisor will be in the room with your students explaining the process and dealing with any language issues. At the same time we have a multibed clinic operating and we will take students off about 2/3 at a time to observe that.
2. How long will be the internship in TCM clinic everyday? I know the course will be started from 1:30 or 2:00 in the afternoon. But, how late it will be? Some students would like to know the timing and make them arrange the other schedule easily. Please!
The students will start at 2pm and can finish when it suits them. The clinic operates until 6pm but if they want to leave earlier that is fine.
3. Do they need to have the white coat during the internship in TCM clinic.
No don’t bother with white coats. If we have some of your students treating we can loan them a white coat.
4. Does it include acupuncture in this TCM clinic?
Our clinic is primarily acupuncture. That is something you will find quite different from Taiwan - in the UK there are far more acupuncturists than herbalists. Monday/Wednesday/Friday will be acupuncture; Tuesday Tuina; Thursday herbal medicine. If the pharmacy students will only be there Monday I will look at running a Herb clinic that afternoon as well. Note we do not have a Chinese herbal medicine pharmacy but we do have a western herbal pharmacy and will arrange for them to sit in with that on the Monday.
I hope you are all aware that our clinic is very small in comparison to what I imagine yours is. This is in effect a private clinic and not part of the National health Service.
Our students have said they will be around if they want to go to the pub after clinic!!!

各位同學，不好意思，學期結束後反而變得更忙，無暇再繼續貼新的文章。
希望現在開始，可以把一些重要的訊息趕緊張貼出來給大家知道。
因為再過20天我們就要在倫敦混了。
第一重要的是：機票！
我們在很矛盾又很不捨的情況下，決定捨棄維珍航空，搭乘直飛的中華航空。
決定華航的因素很多，其一是在同樣的價格下，直航是比較有便利性的，省時(14小時)又方便。
雖然同學少玩一天，但是卻比較容易調整時差。
再來這一次的機位是透過很多人的幫忙才取得這樣的價錢與機位，例如藍天旅行社的吳副總、英國華航的申總經理與新理想旅行社的葉先生。人情上我比較難處理。
學校方面也覺得直航比較好，咱們的校長5月底訪問英國時也是同樣一班的。
我們的飛機航班資訊如下：
